This tutorial will guide you through the process of setting up and using the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet with the Metamask browser extension wallet.

Step 1: Launch Metamask

Launch your Metamask browser extension wallet. If you haven't installed Metamask yet, you can add it to your browser from the official Metamask website at https://metamask.io

Step 2: Add the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet

In the Metamask interface, click on the network selection dropdown at the top of the wallet. This is usually set to the Ethereum Mainnet by default. From the dropdown menu, select 'Custom RPC' to add a new network.

Step 3: Enter Network Details

You'll now see a form titled 'Custom RPC' settings. Enter the following details into the respective fields:

Step 4: Save and Select the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet

After entering the details, click 'Save'. The ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet should now be added to your list of available networks. Go back to the network selection dropdown and select the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet.

Metamask may throw an error stating that the RPC is reporting a different native token symbol (ETH) from the one you just entered. This is expected. On the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet, Test Ether is referred to as SepETH to differentiate it from real Ether.

Once connected to the ZKcandy Sepolia Testnet, you'll need Test Ether (SepETH) in order to transact from your Externally Owned Account (EOA).

You can bridge this Test Ether from the Ethereum Sepolia Testnet. Bridging is the process of transferring assets from one blockchain to another. Refer to the Ethereum Sepolia Testnet's documentation on how to obtain and bridge Test Ether.
